Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and the built environment, including public works such as bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, buildings, roadways, railways lines, water and wastewater treatment and supply systems. Therefore, bringing about the physical infrastructure that is needed for the provision of basic amenities. Civil engineers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life.
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DCEE) has been established to provide engineering education of high quality and research opportunities for both local and international students as they successfully pursue undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
